Through complete sensory immersion, The Palabras Project transforms this classic tale of star-crossed lovers and a generations-old feud into a performance event alive with passion and magic, as Death and the Moon draw us into the rituals of love, betrayal and revenge.
The Palabras Project weaves throughout the theatre, combining the provocative flamenco dance of Susana di Palma, the hip-hop influenced Boricua music of Maria Isa, the indigenous art of Armando Gutierrez G., the masks and puppets of Gustavo Boada, and the storytelling of Dario Tangelson, with the theatrical vision of Ricardo Vázquez and Jessica Huang.
