In the Heights tells the universal story of a vibrant community in New York’s Washington Heights neighborhood—a place where the coffee from the bodega is light and sweet, the windows are open, and the breeze carries the rhythm of three generations of music. At the center of it all is Usnavi, a bodega owner dreaming of a better life, who watches as friends and neighbors chase love, success, and belonging. In the Heights weaves together hopes, dreams, and tough choices about which traditions to carry forward—and which ones to leave behind.
