Join other literature aficionados for thoughtful discourse led by UMN Distinguished Teaching Professor Emerita, Toni McNaron. Books in the Garden is a continuation of the ongoing series by the same title, but you do not need to have attended any previous series to join us for the 2026 course. In each of these books, the class will explore this existential question: What can the natural world and its many creatures teach us about our human world?
