Dr. Tracy Becker is a planetary scientist at the Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio, TX. She is a Co-Investigator and serves as the Composition Working Group co-chair for NASA’s Europa Clipper mission. Her research interests include studying asteroids, Saturn’s rings, and Jupiter’s moons, mostly at ultraviolet wavelengths of light. You can learn more from her website: tracybecker.space

How Solar Activity Influenced Wheat Prices in England during the Renaissance Era by Samuel Hart

Samuel Hart is a second year Ph.D. student in the University of Texas at San Antonio/Southwest Research Institute joint graduate program. Sam received a bachelor's degree in physics and astronomy from the University of Montana in 2018 and now specializes in heliospheric and magnetospheric physics. His research interests include the boundary of our solar system, the surface of the Sun, and the magnetic fields of nearby stars.
